Verification of the Implementation of Ceramic Import Techniques (VPTI): Ceramic Import Surveyor Report

surveyor report Import of Ceramics – The Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Ministry of Trade has officially imposed the terms and conditions for the import of goods for certain types of products, one of which is ceramics.

This technical investigation and verification must be carried out in the implementation of import shipments by surveyors appointed by the Ministry of Trade. The results of the verification are then made in the Ceramic Import surveyor’s report as a customs document.

WHAT IS A SURVEYOR REPORT?

Basically the surveyor’s report is a document published by the surveyor of the VPTI implementation where the document is used for several things. The functions of the surveyor report document are as follows.

As a complementary customs document that is checked in the customs area;
As one of the import requirements documents that must be checked after passing through the customs area.

The Ceramic Import surveyor report document can only be used for one shipment.

REGULATIONS CONCERNING PRODUCT IMPORT CONDITIONS

Provisions on the import of certain types of products are based on the Regulation of the Minister of Trade (Mendag) Number 25 of 2022 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the Minister of Trade Number 20 of 2021 concerning Import Policies and Regulations.

Broadly speaking, the import terms and conditions imposed by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia cover two main things. First, it regulates import licensing and second, regulates the provisions on verification obligations in order to obtain Surveyor Reports (LS).

The verification process in this case is a technical search from the country of origin or cargo carried out by surveyors before the shipping process. The results of the verification are then included in the Surveyor’s Report which becomes a customs document.

This Import Surveyor Report Document can be done by the Surveyor of the Ministry of Trade, where PT. Tribhakti Inspektama (TRIBHAKTI) is one of the Surveyors mandated by Ministerial Decree No.64 of 2022 dated 10 January 2022
